Quasar Science Q-Lion are battery powered bi-color lamps suited with 5 dimming levels set at 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and 10%, the Q-Lion is customizable to any lighting scenario! Never worry about your lights dying, Q-Lions are able to operate while charging. An internal lithium ion battery provides a 4-hour runtime at 100% intensity. These lights also offer 3 switchable white light temperatures of 3000K, 4300K, & 5600K; all with the same high color fidelity Quasar is known for. Quasar Science Crossfade ( Bi-color ) LED lamps are T12-sized bulbs containing two strips of LEDs emitting either 2000K or 6000K directly phosphor converted 450nm LEDs. The LEDs are diffused through a 180o diffuser to provide an even illumination surface at high enough frequencies to prevent flicker artifacts in photographic applications. The LED diodes are “mixed” by changing the ratio of diode channel dim levels set by an input CCT analog potentiometer and maintains maximum device wattage per CCT
setting. The LEDs are dimmed through the use of external TRIAC AC dimmers.
