Sachtler Video 18 Fluid Head
The Sachtler Video 18 Plus camera fluid head is a workhorse for most video cameras. MP&E’s Sachtler 18 will come with a tripod and spreader. Reduced pricing is available when rented with a camera.

Sachtler FSB-8 Fluid Head

This allows the operator to pre-set stop marks to control the camera’s range of motion. Mitchell based, but able to be configured in any orientation with multiple mounting options. The 4-Foot Slider has the option of being able to move the mounting from the standard center position to an offset position that extends the Slider’s reach. This feature comes in handy when shooting car interiors or tabletop, as it allows the camera to reach deeper into the car or farther across the table.

Macro photography, long lens shots, and extremely precise moves all become possible, potentially giving you new categories of production services to offer your clients. Trost sliders provide absolute stability for camera packages up to 560lbs. But a fully outfitted Trost weighs only 15lbs. This means that DSLR rigs work great, and a fully kitted RED or Alexa works even better.
