ARRI 1kw Fresnel:
The ARRI 1kw Fresnel is one of ARRI’s most popular and requested lighting instruments. The ARRI Fresnel series is ideal for use where compact, light weight tungsten Fresnel spotlights are required. Arri Fresnels are the perfect solution in small studios where grid height is a problem. ARRI’s cross-cooling system reduces lamp housing temperature by 25% and lens temperature by 17%. With special air channels built into the aluminum extrusion, a constant stream of air passes around the Fresnel lens and into the lamp head regardless of the tilt angle. The classic ARRI construction of corrosion resistant extruded and die cast aluminum maximizes body strength while maintaining the light weight of an ideal location fixture. Despite the small size, short focal length lenses with wider angles give more light output and better light distribution over the full beam area. When fitted with a 1000-watt bulb this fixture will provide a 2.8′ diameter beam of 409 fc from a distance of 20′ (6.1 m) at full spot. At full flood (same distance), it will provide a 48 fc, 20.4′ diameter beam. The pressure die cast and extruded aluminum components offer greater strength and resistance to corrosion. The redesigned stirrup mounting slides and can be adjusted to counterbalance all accessories and the stainless steel friction disc locks securely even when large front-mounted accessories are being used.
