Zeiss CP.2 50mm Makro:
The Zeiss CP.2 50mm Makro is part of the second generation of CP cinema lenses that were the first to offer full-frame 35mm coverage of large sensor DSLRs. What distinguishes the CP.2 from its PL-mount-only predecessor is its interchangeable lens mount, which allows the included Canon EF mount to be easily swapped out for an optional cinema-standard PL mount. All Compact Prime CP.2 lenses are coated with ZEISS T* coating. The T* coating name (shown with a red T* branded on ZEISS lenses) is derived from anti-reflective (AR) coatings developed 80 years ago at the ZEISS plant in Jena. The T-optics or T-coating name comes from Transparency Optics. These single-layer coating T-optics developed over the years into multilayer coatings. These coatings enable the existence of multiple lens elements and complex optic zoom lenses. or the first time, a single, affordable, professional quality lens can be used on both cinema and still cameras, opening up creative possibilities that keep your rig lightweight, versatile, and on budget. Based on the Makro-Planar design, this fast “normal” lens allows for extremely close focusing up to 10″
