As disruptive and significant as the cameras themselves, the RED Pro 300mm Prime Lens is a cinema telephoto in the Red Pro Prime Lens series. RED provides a new standard for performance. The Pro Primes are a product of superior craftsmanship and optimized optics, producing crisp images that complement the high-resolution of RED cameras. Like all of the Red Primes this lens is built like a tank, and this lens was built to pair perfectly with the Red One, Epic-X, Dragon, and Scarlet-X cameras by complementing their high resolution. This lens can create a sharp image with plenty of contrast that has been compared with the Arri/Zeiss Ultra Primes. We suggest using it with a lens support – the lens weighs approximately 5.7 pounds. The bokeh is absolutely stunning and features beautiful separation. The 300mm Red Pro Prime lens is a 35mm format telephoto lens with a maximum aperture of T2.9. The lens is optimized for Red digital cinema cameras, but it also works well with many other PL mount cameras. RED Pro cinema prime lens at T2.9 has 43mm /0.75 pitch filter tray at back of the lens – clear filter included. The lens comes with both front and rear lens caps and requires a PL mount to equip onto the camera.
