Cooke PANCHRO/i Classic FF

The Cooke PANCHRO/i Classic FF lenses are the Full Frame version of their popular Panchro Classic lenses. This vintage glass has been rehoused by True Lens Service – TLS. Made from stainless steel, brass and aircraft grade aluminum, the whole lens is now brought up to modern day specification. You can now capture that “Cooke Look”, and be confident that their modern housing allows them to stand up to the rigors of modern day production with the Cooke PANCHRO/i Classic FF. Optically designed to provide the classic renowned vintage Speed Panchro look of the 1920s combined with modern opto-mechanical design. The optics are designed to give maximum performance at full aperture with superior control of flare, distortion and spherical aberration. Cooke’s Academy Award winning cam-style focus movement coupled with the added benefit of a large lens barrel diameter, allows for an increased number of focus markings, particularly at close focus. A four-point contact bearing provides a smooth positive backlash-free movement. Ergonomically designed to have smooth and accurate travel – whilst utilizing precision mechanics to provide a consistent feel in operation through the entire focus movement. The Cooke /i Technology ecosystem provides critical lens metadata such as focus and iris position, as well as individually calibrated lens distortion and shading maps. Suitable for the most modern VFX applications such as Virtual Production shooting. All Panchro/i Classic series primes have standardised 0.8 MOD focus and iris drive gears. All lenses in the series also feature a fixed common front diameter of 110mm.
