The Profoto RFi Softgrid Octa 5′ is an ideal way to add directionality while maintaining the soft light quality of your light source. Made with extremely high-quality fabrics, the grid limits the light spread to 50° out of the fixture. The RFi Softgrid 5′ features a collapsible, and portable design. Seeing as the grid is extremely lightweight, the fabric grids do not need a supporting frame of their own. Color-codes and Velcro attachments result in hassle-free assembly and disassembly. The velcro attachments are there for fast and easy setup. It allows you to quickly attach via touch fasteners on the recessed lip of the RFi softbox. These will also fold down flat to a fraction of their in-use size. The grid includes a fabric storage bag. All RFi Softboxes have a recessed front that allows you to attach a softgrid. The RFi softboxes are compatible to more than 20 different flash brands through a wide range of speedring adapters. The softgrid reduces the light spread to 50°. In other words, it creates a more directed light and eliminates a large amount of spill light, allowing you to shape the light with even more precision.
