Kino Flo Mini-Flo Car Kit:
The KinoFlo Mini-Flo Kit is one of their smallest portable light sources, sometimes called a “car kit.” It can be found most often on film sets lighting a nighttime car interior scene, and other small areas. You can also use them mounted on cameras as small Obie lights. Sometimes rows of the dimming Mini·Flo will be built into the desks of a TV anchor for a soft fill source. However, over the years, the Mini Flo’s unique lightweight and color control features have endeared it to video and broadcast lighting designers as a cool, efficient chin light for speakers at a podium or in a TV studio. The system includes a 12V high-output electronic ballast with dimming control that is capable of running a lamp up to 48 feet away. Each travel kit comes with a pair of 9-inch Mini-Flo Single Systems, which take Kino Flo True Match daylight and tungsten balanced lamps and accessories. Like all Kino Flos, it is flicker-free, instant-on, and completely silent. The Kino Flo 12V Car Kit is great for lighting tight spaces, like car interiors. Provides soft, even illumination utilizing a ballast (power supply) that operates on 12 Volts. Change color temperature from Tungsten 3200K to Daylight 5600K by simply changing fluorescent tubes.
