The Preston MicroForce Zoom Control is a handheld controller that provides precise, smooth control over your zoom lens. The controller is compatible with a wide range of lenses and can be used for both cinema and broadcast applications to provide the zoom command signal for the FI+Z system as well as drive the internal motors of most video lenses. The rugged housing, machined from solid aluminum alloy, protects mechanical abuse control and guarantees years of reliable operation. Its ergonomic design provides a rounded grip for comfortable use throughout the day and also offers a convenient fixing point for your docking arm adapter. The new speed control knob is virtually indestructible. It rotates with a glassy softness that is reflected in the careful design used everywhere. A bright digital display shows the speed setting and the maximum speed is set with a new rugged encoder. The max speed will be set the with the encoder, and the Zoom speed is controlled by applying thumb pressure to the joystick.
